There will be 3 health and well-being shows in London this weekend, all being held at Olympia.
The Allergy & Free From show, the Love Natural, Love You show and the Just V show.
Heaven for a natural living and health and well-being enthusiast like myself.
So dust off your comfy walking shoes, download your free tickets, call up your bestie and head on down.
Allergy & Free From
I attended The Allergy & Free From show two years ago and had a great time.
I learned about many different brands that cater for every allergy and diet you can think of.
What I loved about the show was that it gave me the opportunity to discover lots of smaller brands and finding so many raw chocolate brands was my highlight.
Dark and free from chocolate is relatively easy to find these days, however, most brands that are available in supermarkets contain soya, which I do my best to avoid. So discovering these new brands was a dream come true for me!
Love Natural, Love You
I’m also looking forward to the Love Natural, Love You show as I’ve been making a conscious effort to use more natural products to maintain good health and well-being.
The Love Natural, Love You show will focus on all things related to natural beauty, food, drink, fitness, health and home.
I’m particularly interested in discovering brands that offer household products with natural ingredients as these are still not so easy to come by in high street supermarkets.
I’m also desperate to find a natural deodorant that actually works and that does not aggravate my extremely sensitive skin.
I’ve heard good things about Hippy Paste, so I was pleased to see that the brand Earth Conscious will be exhibiting.
I’d also like to find a decent non-toxic nail polish remover.
On the website, the Just V show says that it will be filled with delicious food and drink, tips, life-hacks, advice and like-minded people, for veggies, vegans and plant-based lifestyles.
I’m always on the look out for new vegan and plant-based recipes and products so I’m excited to see what’s on offer.
I’m hoping that there will be lots of products available that are free from soya and other additives.
I find that with many veggie and vegan products, they may be meat and dairy free, but they’re often loaded with soya, sugar and other less than desirable ingredients.
Put a face to the brands
The great thing about shows like these is that they bring together lots of brands under one roof and reduce the time you have to spend researching online.
A lot of the time, you also get to meet the people behind the brand as there are so many small companies exhibiting. It’s really interesting to find out what motivated them to start their brand and get a better understanding of their ethos.
When I went to The Allergy & Free From show two years ago, I met a lovely lady, Amanda, who turned out to be the owner of Spiezia Organics. We got on so well just in the few moments of meeting that I ended up working with her on a workshop I put together that same year.
If you suffer from any allergies, follow a restricted diet or are simply curious about following a healthier more natural lifestyle, then I would definitely recommend going along.
The shows are on for 3 days, Friday – Sunday.
Sunday is always a good day to go as towards the end of the day, the brands apply heavy discounts and there are lots of freebies to be had.
I’m not sure if you need a separate ticket for each show, as although it says on the website Love Natural, Love You and Just V are co-located with the Allergy & Free From show, it’s not clear if one ticket gives you access to all three.
So here is the ticket information just in case:
Tickets for Love Natural, Love You are free.
Free tickets for Just V can be found here and you can access free tickets for The Allergy & Free From show via this link. (NB: if you try to get tickets directly through the website homepages, the ticket will cost £10.)
I’m planning to go on Friday so if you see me, be sure to say hi!
