“The biggest/most useful thing I have taken away is that I’m not alone, which is very empowering. Realising that it will take time and the unknown will be uncomfortable and not everyone will approve or understand. But in order to live a life that I am proud of and feel alive, rather than just existing, I have to act in my best interest. Finding my calling requires trial and error.  I must learn to accept and expect failure as a stepping stone to my aspirations. The key is to believe in the process and take baby steps.

A surprise benefit was that even though I’m clearly not where I want to be yet, I feel lighter and empowered. I felt trapped before. And I was procrastinating, because I didn’t know where to start and worried what would have if I failed. I’m surprised how simple and enjoyable the actions are. Realising that this is a process and it’s never too late to start was my epiphany.

I would recommend this to anyone who is feeling lost and needs some guidance, not someone who is expecting a quick fix.”
